Service Description

An adult hygiene appointment will begin with a comprehensive examination of the mouth in order to create a treatment plan that is customized to your unique oral needs. The examination will include digital pictures as well as an oral cancer screening. We then use hand instruments and/or an ultrasonic (Airflow Max) scaler to gently break up the tartar and plaque that builds up below the gum line. Following, we use your choice of polishing paste and Xylitol (dry mouth) treatment, if necessary. We will review your home care techniques so that future cleanings will be effortless. Your appointment commences with hot towel service and soothing gum massage with your choice of essential oils.
