Service Description

A teen hygiene appointment begins with a thorough exam of teeth and gums, digital pictures as well as an oral cancer screening. We use both hand instruments and an ultrasonic scaler to gently break up the plaque and tartar that can build up below the gum line. Following, we use your choice of polishing paste and Xylitol (dry mouth) treatment, if necessary. Home care information and instructions are given as well as lots of encouragement.
