Village Dental Hygiene is the only clinic in Waterdown using Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). As a minimally invasive way to clean teeth and gums, we believe this new approach is a critical step in the prevention of periodontal and peri-implant disease. The system removes biofilm (plaque), stains, and early tartar on natural teeth and is also safe to use on and around orthodontic appliances, restorations, and implants.
The use of less power and hand instrumentation means there’s no need for rubber cups, brushes, paste, or scraping. Our services include screening for, preventing, and treating oral health problems that directly impact your overall health.
However, your dentist is still an essential part of your oral care team, when more complicated issues arise. If you don't have a dentist, we will gladly refer you to one who aligns with your values and needs.
